Drive

Drive
Late at night, crowd is gone
turn out the lights, curtain's down
hold the keys in my right hand
a fast look on my guitar case
two thumbs up,ready for the road
and i drive, and i drive
miles and miles of rubber , feeling lonesome without you
and i drive to make it back to where my heart is close to you
well my heart ,i feel lucky to have you
night is dark, coffee's gone
i feel the wind breathing down my neck
between the white lines and the asphalt
i see your face, hear your voice
with me now, ready for the road
night is dark, crowd is gone
shake off the miles, turn the radio on
hold the wheel with my left hand
i play the road with Zac Brown's band
two thumbs up, thank you for the road

Heart of the Wild
03:17
|

Bury my heart in the heart of the wild
play me your fiddle, sing me a song
i'm gonna dream for a long long time
here in the heart of the wild
take my hand, rest my soul
cause i'm gonna love you for a long long time
bury my heart in the land of the free
here in the heart of the wild
when i lay my head
and i close my eyes
i still hear the sound
of the dobro ring
when at last
i rest my case

No Tag No Restart
03:36
|
|||
Too hot to touch
on fire in her heart
she burned me out
in no time at all
there's no turnin' back
burnin' little baby
no tag no restart
only hell to pay
Round the pool
got the sun
on her skin
made for fun
turn it loose
oh come on
feels so good
turn me on
a bad kind of an angel
my burnin' little baby
she dances with the devil
cowgirl way

Road to Paradise
03:45
|
|||
Oh the lay of the landwhen the sun comes up
black coffee smell, oh when you fill my cup
the joy of life when the breeze is over the sea
and the weather is fine, it all comes back to me
found a narrow way, the road that leads to paradise
a pathway made of gold like a dream made of love
and when the gates of heaven are wide open in your eyes
fly me away on the road to paradise
it's a winding road into the valley of my dream
a wet and slippery trip along the bedrock of the stream
steeper and steeper and over the waterfall
deeper and deeper run into the jungle
like the hummingbird's fly around the blossom of the flower
like the trade winds cool breeze surfin' on the water
if it all goes round, yeah, you'll find me there
where the beauty of the islands is everywhere

Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever
It may take awhile before i write again
cause i thrown my pen in the flames
long wintertime stuck in the grizzly den
gone crazy time and again
cabin fever, well i'm bound to hit the road
leave it all behind, unchained my heart and blow my load
cabin fever, well i think it's about time cause i'm down
i'm down to my last rhyme
laying on my back with a 28 guitar
rundown shack, almost empty whisky jar
walkin' the floor, sometimes bangin' the door
for too long i've been trying my song
springtime's a comin', i can feel it in the air
stove's a burnin', but it's still cold out there
woodpile is low, so this is my last stand
two words to go and i've yet to write the end

Bam Bam
03:20
|

Bam Bam
honey i don't care if the world turns round
when you comb your hair and go dancin' around
darlin' i don't mind, you stick out a tongue
just as long as you're singing along
bam bam
everybody stands, every body dances
everybody smiles, clappin' their hands
oh baby i love when you play bam song
just as long as you're singing along
bam bam
a toe with a tip, a sway in your hips
shakin' the butt, a little kiss on your lips
well i like you to yell when you throw me your thong
just as long as your singing along
bam bam

American Dream, Little love Bruno LeGrizzly
If i may take a pen and put it on a paper
I would tell you the story of my little love
So you can read it later, kind of a reminder
When she’ll be a grownup my little love
She’s the only one that can stand out from the crowd
And i feel so proud when she step into the light
She dances, she flies, with a flame in her eyes
Livin’ an american dream
Down the road i let her take the wheel
She will drive me crazy, head over heels
She would laugh at me and i would shed a tear
She drives me mad my little one, my little love
One day so soon my little love will spread her wings
My little dove, she’ll fly away, be on her way
I’ll be forever in her wake, watch her grow up
watch her dance, dance, dance, dance my little love

Bad Bad Bad
04:08
|

Bad bad bad Bruno LeGrizzly
There was a young cowboy, workin’ the hay
His finger to the bone for a dollar a day
Sunup to sundown, rain or shine
Singin’ in the saddle, callin’ on cattle
He went to town everytime he got a pay
To spend it on beer and a little poker game
Whenever he reached the bottom stair
He hears a voice in the air
You goy mud on your boots, you got dirt on your hands
You got holes in your pockets and again on your pants
Your beard needs a blade, a band in your hair
You look bad bad bad
You can knock on the door, you can ring the bell
Stay out in the rain or even go to hell
You may try my number, you can beat up the phone
You don’t come in with your muddy boots on
He settled down, he took a dog and a wife
Workin’ at the mill for a dollar a day
Raised up his troubles with his wife
Cause he never made enough money
He got drunk everytime he got to town
And comes back unsteady in his own frontyard
Whenever he reached the bottom stair
He hears a voice in the air
Now he’s a tired old cowboy and the days are slow
He’s good to go , memories are back
When he was in the saddle, callin’ on cattle
Sunup to sundown, rain or shine
He’d like to try for the very last time
To pull on his old boots before he die
But when he reached that golden gate
He hears a voice in the air
You don’t knock on the door, you don’t ring the bell
Go straight to heaven, you’ll never go to hell
You don’t need no number, got no use for a phone
You just come in with your muddy boots on

Stay Alive
03:13
|
|||
Well my father's own father
now he's long time gone
worked the pick and the shovel
sunup to sundown
he gave all his life
to the quarries of stone
to find himself at last
broke and all alone
Too long time gone
down in the cold coal mine
too long time bent
behind the plow on that straight line
oh they never know
how much they have to give
Just to stay alive
once you were a good girl
but time went by
you had to heat the place
and food for the kids to buy
so you lay down yourself
for a dollar or two
found those who didn't mind
to take all what's left off you
